The tourist train of Bayeux

With its 18 meters in length and its 60 seats, the tourist train of Bayeux, entirely electric, offers passengers the possibility of discovering the rich heritage of the city.

  • From early April to the end of October
  • 35-minute guided tours (tour lasts 45 minutes)
  • 6 languages: French, English, German, Dutch, Spanish and Italian
  • Departures every hour from the tourist office, situated Pont Saint-Jean
  • To be noted: each year, the tourist train adapts its route according to major works (Bayeux Tapestry Museum) or major events (festivities around June 6, Medieval Festival...)

Departure timetables

  • April / May / October / November: 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • June to September : 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

On Wednesday (market day): first departure at 3:00 p.m.

  • Adults: 7 €
  • Children - 12 years old: €4.50
  • Children - 3 years old: free

Groups (from 20 people)

  • Adults: 6 €
  • Children - 12 years old: €3.50
  • Free for bus drivers, guide and children under 3 years old
