Baj'O, permanent trail in Bayeux

The BAJ’O, a permanent orientation trail, comes to life in Bayeux! From beacon to beacon, five routes are currently available. While two of them are specially dedicated to athletes (timed, without additional content), three offer a tourist version: carried out by college students, in conjunction with professionals, these alternatives are supplemented with historical information to discover or rediscover the history of the city. In sport mode or in walk mode, with a smartphone or a traditional paper map, explore Bayeux in a different way!

The themed trails

Orientation trails can be completed using the VikAzimut application, available for free on Google Play. The iPhone version is in development and should be available from summer 2021. Those most connected will be able to use the application to scan the QR Codes present on each beacon or automatically geolocate themselves. Fans will be delighted to find the famous marks of the orienteering race. For those, the maps can be downloaded above or available at the Bayeux tourist office (Pont Saint-Jean).
